     The Lord has never had a close call.
     He has never just squeaked in at the nick of time after barely getting things done. Only man does things that way.
     That is why we so often pray without faith, and we fail to present our case to an omnipotent and personal Lord who is not only capable, but aware of the particulars.
     We are the ones who interpret his withholding of visible satisfaction later than our insecurity wants it, to be non responsive and late.
     But that just isn't true. Remember, He didn't heal Lazarus, He raised him from the dead - after four days!
     He wasn't late then and He won't be late for you.
