What a great
old song it is, that ends with:
"For it's enough that Jesus died,
And that He died for me!"
But is it really enough?
It certainly ought to be. Yet,
the flesh craves at least one thing more all the time. Sometimes
it is financial security, other times it is a good image. Many
think they must have a life style at home that results in a thrill
in the earthly relationship of marriage.
For some, it would be enough that
Jesus died, if only their children would stop drinking. For others,
it would be enough that Jesus died if there were another pastor.
How about you? Is He enough
for you?
