Imagine what
an infinite frontier exists for the soldier of the Cross!
We who are born again have the
possibility of moving into eternity now. There is no limit to
what God can do with a human life - there is only a limit to
what we will allow.
The catch is, God's use of a man
can't be measured by human success. What's more, the only folks
who will know what is happening are those who have given themselves
to the same abandon.
How precious a gift - the person
of the Indwelling Holy Spirit. What tremendous power - power
that always exceeds our own reaches.
Lord, it
feels like I just can't do it.
But I know you can be trusted,
because your Word says it, and because I have nowhere else to
go. Please take my life, and burn away all that is not useful
to you.
I long to go beyond the clutches
of the gravity of the flesh. Please, Lord and Master, train me
to move, and not look back! |
