Should the Lord
come in an hour, how will your next sixty minutes be spent? Surely not in worry or fear or reviewing the past to see if something could have been different. Nor can you waste the time considering all the different things you can do if the situation does not resolve itself as you wish it would. We are often reminded that our lives are short, and words fail in comparing these days with eternity. We need the Word of God. We need prayer. We need to do the next thing with integrity. We need and we need to serve the Body of Christ. We need to be vigilant when we answer the phone and the door knock. We need to watch each word that we say and we need to obey in bringing each thought to captivity. Jesus is coming! And, soon! |
