Even in the most
extreme situations, you must minister grace. What does that mean? I don't know. Only the Holy Spirit reveals the creativity of Grace at the time it is needed. Why is this so critical? For the protection of the believer. There is nothing in the middle. There is only obedience and disobedience. The flesh desperately wants to wield the thing deserved, and that balance is reserved for the Day of Judgment. When the Christian deals back what has been dealt to him or her, the door is flung wide open for the enemy to overpower like a tidal wave, and the thoughts and emotions bend to hell's agenda. Not a pleasant thought! Lord, please, please do whatever must be done in me in order to bring about your Life, even in the most trying situations. Above all things, I desperately long for the deepest changes that will allow your Life to pour forth apart from my own knowledge and natural perceptions. Nothing else will do, Lord Jesus. |
