Victory is not
always the result that feels the best to the flesh. Victory is the result that glorifies the Lord and we do not always know what that is. That is why it is so critical to marinate the situation in prayer. Prayer doesn't mean we will become omnicient, but it does mean we will recognize the Lord. Sometimes the most foolish and helpless feeling can sweep over the Soldier of the Cross in the time of great victory. That is only the enemy taking advantage of the flesh. We have our marching orders and sometimes we get to have personal satisfaction from the results and sometimes we don't. The bottom line? All that we are and all that we have and as much as we can - obey! |
