in the heart grows cold, it is either known sin, or rebellious
refusal to meet with the Savior. There are times when there is no known sin and the believer simply can't seem to bring himself to the place of meeting with the Lord. When that is the case, the Christian must come to grips with the fact that he must do something about his reticence. The enemy is able to fix a holographic wall about the place of fellowship, but it it not of substance and The Soldier of the Cross will latch on to the nearest story of victory and will propel himself from it. Soldier, many have gone before. They were just as we. Human. Fragile. Weak. But they had a Savior as do we. The most important thing? Keep moving. The Holy Spirit will breath on the coals ignited by salvation and obedience guarantees His response. Soldier, it does not matter what you feel. You must come to grips with this fact. The only thing that matters is the Word of God, and you must make sure your life, your thoughts, and your words and actions line up with the Word. Then, over time, the flame in your heart will grow blue hot. For all eternity, it will remain fueled by the supernatural Love of then One Who holds the stars in place! |
