Soldier,
You can't go back. Even if you were to try, the beauty of the Lord is irresistible, once He has been seen. And after all, your salvation is undeniable. That means every word in the Bible is true. It means He will not fail you. We who follow him do not trudge in despondency. We don't have horrible lives of hardship and sorrow. We have a supernatural joy that stems from "It is Finished. . " and the witness of the indwelling Holy Spirit. We have a reason to give our all in the next hour. We have a reason to choose obedience. We see eternity and it means a Glory walk instead of a misery walk. Soldier, look up and move on! |
