Doing the
next thing is a habit.
One of the remarkable privileges
of being born again is that we have a supernatural witness of
our accountability before God.
I have seen my share of lazy Christians,
but I know many who have a lean bearing into the thing before
them because their vision is way beyond this life. They have
given up physical sluggishness as an excuse and have habitually
attended to the things the Lord has put in their arenas.
I have often stayed with missionaries
who, while fighting serious illness and worse problems, vigorously
performed the duties given to them, for which they were never
paid nor recognized.
I am sure that will be a large
part of being found a "good and faithful Servant."
