When the Lord
takes away something, He never leaves a void. This is a difficult fact to absorb when the loss first occurs, because places are raw and vulnerable that we didn't even know existed. But the One who went to prepare a place for us is also preparing us for that place, and He does is not neglectful or unfeeling. Satan will tell you otherwise, but our Lord is still giving Himself for us and He is interceding about the very things we pray about that are so painful. The Soldier of the Cross must stand in front of the mirror and say outloud the things that Bible makes so clear: Jesus loves me, this I know- For the Bible tells me so. . . |
