The verse
says: "Wisdom cries out in the intersection. . ."
I believe it means where there
is much going on, we are not left to our own devices.
The fact that the Bible personifies
wisdom is a clear signal that Wisdom is a person. After
all, when we see or know what is really happening, we say "when
the light dawned, I realized. . ."
And we know that "When we
walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship
one with another. . ."
What does all this mean? The Christian
who desperately wants safety and carefully pulls out of the zone
of danger also pulls out of the stream of most obvious divine
light.
We were intended to love and know
Him and that is not possible when self-protection is an
obeyed reflex.
Wisdom sees what is really
going on.
Wisdom sees through eyes that are
clear of sleep and haze.
The intersection is the place where
paths cross and vigilance is a must. All the Soldier needs to
do is to ask, to expect, and to recognize the One he has come
to depend on instead of himself
