The sovereignty
of God overrules all human success and error. The doctor who made the mistake with the baby did not cause a death. The job opportunity is not granted by the boss, but by the Lord. The conductor who doesn't like your playing is not the one making the ultimate decision. All things are attentively controlled and decided by the Lord, and we who serve Him and plan to spend eternity with Him, better come to grips with reality. There can be no effective service in the Army of the King of Kings until the Soldier of the Cross realizes all things are in His hands. It is so easy to blame a person for an error or to try to impress those "in power", but the Word of God tells us that the One who sees the sparrow fall, also appoints world powers. There are many things that we do not have because we do not consult Him about them. But the bottom line is, we have a Father who is all powerful and who is not impressed by or influenced by or limited by anything at all! |
