We ought not
to be easily stirred up. We who are the Lord's must take heed of the things that are important all the time. There is a skill to living the Christian life and it is rooted in obedience. In order to respond to the provision extended to us, we must always come back to the basics - an essential foundation of any skill. When we do this, things fall into perspective. Here are a few: We are not our own - we've been bought with a Price! In just a few minutes, Jesus might come to catch us up in the clouds. Nothing is accurate when assessed by sight. God's Word is more real than the way that you feel. You must put the other person first. Will it burn in the judgment, or will it last? |
