I must find
my satisfaction in Christ. My satisfaction cannot come from order, control, or approval of man. From the beginning of time, the Lord has been telling His Own that He is our completion. But the flesh has cravings and addictions of its own, and they are not illusions - they are real. They are like an itch that must be scratched, and only more of the same will keep the itching from overpowering the consciousness. But the Soldier of the Cross has the Word of God. Clear instructions. And the Along-side One to interpret. He alone can satisfy the need, sooth the soul, and clean and replace the imaginings of the mind. God's Word is more real Than the way that you feel! |
