There can be
no peace without submission. Peace can only be found in agreement with God, and there can be no such agreement when the flesh must be satisfied. It is critical to commit all to the Lord over and over. Invariably a longing for a particular feeling or a craving for something not good for us takes over the soul, and we must stand under the waterfall of the Word and confession, and declare again that His way is the only way. You can't turn back, and turning to the side is counterproductive and sinful - you must take up the Cross and follow Him. Is He enough? |
