The thing before
you that seems so grim is not perceived as such in
heaven. We only have access to what the Lord is doing by faith. He has chosen to shield us from all the goings on and the healing, delivering, loosening, and restoring that He said He would do through prayer. In heaven, all know that it was never grim nor was there a crisis. We were not designed to fix it or to sweat and strain in order to convince God that it is bad enough to merit His attention. We are not equipped for worry, and that leaves us with only one wise choice; we must speak to Him clearly and articulately about what He said we should do, and then we must do it, or refrain, as the case may be. The Soldier who rushes in will stumble over his own feet and will flap and flail against an already defeated foe. When we obey, there is release. The release does not come by way of solving the problem, although the enemy will whisper differently. Release comes in the moment of power - the moment of submission to the One who hung the stars in place, and the One who can certainly untie the knot you are holding and make eternal order out of it. |
