We never outgrow
our need for the Bible. It is the great tragedy of "Christian work" today that most believers live from day to day without opening the Bible. That means that there is no fresh encounter with the One whose Name is The Word. That also means that they are operating on knowledge rather than power. It means that ears close off to tender sounds and eyes become dull to dimension and intensity. We are told that in heaven, knowledge will cease. Do you know why? Because we will be in the physical presence of the One whose Name is The Word! |
