When the Lord
is allowed to enter the door of the human heart, there is a power
that reveals itself by exuding heaven's warmth - it is the very
Life of Jesus. He never asked us to make fancy plans or have evident success, but He has asked us to minister to the one before us, and to attend to the "now" of life. So often we get passive about prayer and the Word, and we settle into a fuzzy little haze that obscures the needs of those around us. The One Who offered to sup with us never ignores the need. He doesn't give in to demands, but He does extend a supernatural grace that creates a capacity in the hurting one to receive healing. Wherever He is, there is a touch. There is firmness and there is also inexpressible sensitivity. He loves both His own and the lost through His saints. We are told to pursue this Love, and to remind each other of the things that are most important. His Life poured out - wherever there is an available Soldier of the Cross, His Love flows like a fountain. |
