     Love the Lord.
     He says obedience is better than sacrifice, so you must learn to obey. and that comes at a cost.
     Through all of human history, saints who have learned obedience are those who have presented themselves as living sacrifices - daily - and I guarantee, outloud.
     The first commandment is one that can only be approached in prayer, and there is not a chance He will ignore or minimize the request.
 

     Lord Jesus, please do whatever must be done in me to bring about obedience. I want to love you with all that I am and all that I have.
     How can that be? Lord, I need you. I hold up to you my faculties, my money, my body, my relationships, and Lord, I submit to you, who see so much more than I.
     Lord, please dig deeply and remove the places and strongholds that resist you.
     Teach me to obey - teach me to love you.
