No matter what
things look like, His promises are still true. It is only our impatience that stands in the way of our seeing Him come to the rescue. How tempting it is to the flesh to come up with an alternate plan, in the event of His failure or deafness. Yet, He is always wooing us into faith. Sight is so comfortable to the old nature that wants to invest in this life, but the things of eternity can only be seen by faith. And faith chaps the flesh badly. Hallelujah that we have the privilege of "dying daily." That is the purpose of the Cross - taking it up and following Him - for the death of the flesh. It is an organic process that He has designed, - move or stand by faith first, and then He will reveal Himself and unveil the promise answered. |
