Believers who
understand God is really sovereign are able to release
to Him even the most difficult things that happen. The evidence of not believing in His control is a mind that constantly attempts to relive the situation so that it might have come out differently. How futile. Not only is it totally ineffective, but it absorbs the moment by distraction into the past. It seduces the Christian into fantasizing about having had control. It is a false touching of the situation and for most people it is a habit. Not so for The Soldier of the Cross. Once the thing has happened, there must be a yielding up to the Lord in it, about it, and for His purpose. Moreover, it is not important to understand it or to feel totally healed. It is important to take up the Cross and follow Him! |
