Our pleasure is
to be found in Christ.
My father was a splendid example
of that. He took no real pleasure in anything else. All that
brought him delight, he attributed to the Lord, and the things
of the Lord brought him delight.
In fact, there was nothing that
thrilled him but the Lord.
He enjoyed nature, good food, laughter,
and all things wholesome, but he would always relate ( every
few minutes) his pleasure to the part the Lord had in
causing the thing to take place.
It is a remarkable thing to grow
up with.
My parents were as different as
night and day. One seeing the Lord and one seeing only what ought
to be different.
Brothers and Sisters, listen to
me:
Everything you think and say matters.
It matters to you and to each person who hears you.
Light dispels darkness.
Stand for what is right and move
on. Don't wait to be vindicated. You might have to wait a whole
lifetime.
The timetable and agenda of heaven
ought to be our own.
We operate by faith. He said we
should stand on the Word, and that is what we must do!
You have absolutely no idea what
how the Lord will use your attitude and obedience, but there
is no other choice. There is nowhere else to go.
There is no other choice!
