Hallelujah for the teaching of the Word!

I understand that I may not "take it with me," but if I am not careful, the world will seep in and little by little, I will want to accumulate and store goods in my barn.

The leading of the Spirit of God is always away from the cares of this world. Do you have bills due? He will take care of them. What He will not do is make sure that you have a nest egg ahead of time so that you have no concerns.

The Soldier of the Cross will have no financial concerns because he is wholly dependent upon the One who placed the jewels in the mines of the earth. He will need to pray in his daily bread, but when he begins to fret about money, he will be brought up short in prayer and he will see again that the Lover of his Soul has already provided.

Saints, there is no middle ground. We cannot take even a little backpack. He created us to travel light, and travel light we must!
