     Corrie ten Boom understood the Cross for the first time in her mid to late fifties!
     God's skill to reveal Himself does not diminish when we age.
     The prayer "Lord, change me. . ."  is so essential in order to remain available to the tender moving of the Holy Spirit. Otherwise as we grow older, we tend to operate by habit and according to experience.
     We must live on the edge - laying the burden down, but always ready for something we have not experienced.
     Only in that way will the Soldier of the Cross be one whose life is poured out instead of preserved. And only in that way will Jesus be revealed.
