     Ministry begins with agreeing with God.
     He knows all the ways to reach both the lost and His own, and we only know the 
ways He has used before.  He has asked that we depend on Him for each step of the 
way rather than depending on our evaluation of the best method at our fingertips.
     He has asked that we pray for all men everywhere, and our tendency is to rush in
to put to practical use the best of our skills, when His best might be a display of our 
weakness.
     Agreeing with Him begins with positioning ourselves before Him as servants who 
know nothing before hearing Him each moment.
     This doesn't mean we become puppets without will or discernment, but it means
we develop a Holy Spirit sensitivity to the Plan and method of God.
     We are often overeducated and under illuminated.

      Lord, I want to be wholly useful.  Please do whatever it takes to make your 
likeness in me.  I want my life to reflect my acknowledgment of you as Sovereign Lord
and Perfect King.
      I don't want to go my own way in anything, but plead to see you so clearly as to
want your way alone.
     Lord Jesus, teach me to love.
