     Patience only comes through the challenge of a thing that can not be endured.
     The Bible tells us that there is always a way of escape - that does not mean having 
my way nor does it mean the resolution of the situation.  It means the Lord will open
my eyes and give me supernatural strength and endurance to obey.
     Soldier, we need these trials.  Nothing else will make us like Him.  It isn't that we can 
only be like Him if we must writhe in the dust, it is that we must be in a place of 
impossibility and then choose obedience over sight and human reality.
     Nothing else will do.
     We do not have the capacity to change without confrontive choice - confrontive to
the flesh.
     We need it.  
     It is Grace.
     It will lead to Life more abundant!
