The Lord does
not choose those who are deserving. Remember, no one deserves anything but eternal death. Only Grace allows us even to receive the gift of salvation. Soldier, serve the Lord and minister to the person before you. Be sure you do not attempt to serve the person as a ministry to the Lord, for if you do that, it will be impossible to love the unlovely. We have no idea what the Lord is doing in the heart of another - we obey by faith and let us also love by faith! |
