Soldier, do
you fear you are out of ammunition? Remember, your fire-power does not originate from you and neither does the substance. Yes, it is true that all ministry passes through the vessel, but He and He alone does the job. We yield our bodies and faculties for His use, and that is second the most critical thing The Soldier of the Cross must remember. The first is that there must be time with Him in order to recognize Him. There must be the preparation of the heart in prayer and the fresh cleansing of the Word. Then in counseling, teaching, preaching, evangelism, admonition - absolutely everything, there is preparation to step out of the way. It never changes: less of me and more of Him! |
