We must move
beyond the past. Believers have a supernatural perspective and a hope that is not based on human balance. That false balance is the goal of the soul when the mind grasps at the past with either resentment as energy to fantasize a better result, or sentimentality to artificially bring back moments that can not be experienced again. Soldier, All Things Are New! We leave behind those things which would hinder, and we press on. If we linger over the things that cling, we loose all perspective to both the past and the present, and we become paralyzed. There is no hurt He can't heal. There is no damage He can't repair. You will take up the Cross, and move on. |
