There is no
end to God's Love. We know it as a fact, but it is often out of the conscious experience. He must be thought about and considered. When we obey in that way, He reveals himself to the available heart. The reality of His Love for you ought to release you to love the unlovely. Who are they? The difficult. The trouble-makers that ought to be punished. The unrelenting attention leeches. The stubborn. That describes all of us. What touched you? Love that went to the Cross when you didn't care. Love that wooed you long before you turned to look. We all deserve eternal death. Our job is to Love. So, Soldier, you must stop to prayerfully consider how stunningly deeply He loves you. He thinks about you always. He considers only your best. He goes before you and makes the way clear. His heart is ravished by your attention. He said so. Stop looking at yourself and others. Look up and move on. |
