     Remember, God's Word is more real than the way that you feel!
     This is one of the most important things you can carry with you - and it must be
appropriated and taken as a paramount truth.
     This is the essence of faith  - His Word is over all.  It is above the way things 
look, and it is above the way things feel.  Most Christians are not taught this and
although they are aware of basic biblical teaching, they suffer from warring with
emotions.
     Remember Job?  "Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him. . ."
     There is nowhere else to go.
     Soldier, there are several sources for emotions, but the primary source is the 
enemy.  Learn to govern your body and make it honor the Lord at those times.
Learn to have a countenance that honors Him.
     Learn to have a posture that honors Him.
     Learn to limit reactions and use your faculties to honor Him.
     Learn to take an opposite physical stance from the one the negative emotion
produces.
     Learn to have His Word on your lips and in your mind.
     Your feelings will go all over the place, but His Word will never change.
