Money is an illusion.
We are told to pray in our daily bread, and not to worry about tomorrow.
A tall order?
There is no choice. That makes it a commandment, and not many Christians
realize it. The One Who made and redeemed us, and Who is coming again for us,
has designed us to live by faith rather than by our own efforts.
When was the last time you prayed for your daily bread? I don't mean a financial
crisis, I mean your daily bread.
Soldier, when you learn to pray in your daily bread, you will begin to understand that
the Lord makes out your paycheck, not your boss. It feels like a direct return for work,
so most never consider it to be an answer to prayer for provision.
Were we to pray obediently and regularly for our daily bread, we would
understand the verses about letting tomorrow take care of itself.
The Blood-bought Christian has no financial crisis.
