     Encounters and events that are prepared in prayer have a Glory to them that often  
is seen only by those watching, as opposed to those participating.
     Prayer defuses the plans and purposes of the enemy, so that even if seemingly
destructive or negative things happen or are said, they have only a surface effect.
     The believer can be confident that the Lord will reveal Himself.  We must be sure
to pray for that rather than our own success, for only then will we be able to see what
He is doing.
      No wonder we are taught to pray at all times and for all occasions and for all
men.  
     Without prayer we are blind.
     Without prayer we are bound.
     And without prayer we are buffeted.
