     Why is it we can come to Him just as we are?
     Because of His great Love.
     His love does not diminish or increase when we do or don't do something.  He will
not love us more when we are obedient than when we disobey.   The ebb and flow
of the experience of love is human, not divine and God's constant Love is out of the 
realm of our experience.
     We know it is true.  We came to Him helpless and dirty when we were saved, and 
He did not turn us away.  And now that we are His, He still wants us to come as we 
are.
     Soldier, so many believers wane in the devotional life because they do not feel 
spiritually inclined to meet with the Master.
      It doesn't matter.  Do it anyway.  He doesn't ask us to get right before coming to 
Him - but He does ask us to come to Him to get right.
     We need Him. He knows that.
     His arms are open.
