     A man's belief in God can be measured by his prayer life.
     If a believer really believes what the Bible says about prayer and fully desires his
life to belong to the Lord and desisres to be led by the Holy Spirit, he will be a man of 
prayer.
     There is no such thing as a Christian who is so helpless in his schedule that he can 
not pray.  Soldier, why do you do what you do?  Because there is simply nothing else
that makes sense.
     There is no second best.
     There is no other place to find wisdom and put the burden down.
     One of the reasons we know we are saved is that it is impossible to go back. We
can be passive and miserable, but we simply can't go back, any more than an infant
can crawl back up into the womb.
     I would say, that is pretty basic.
     So, let us move on.  Let us put our efforts, faculties and bodies on the altar of 
sacrifice because we trust Him, and, we would all agree, He never lies.
      It is the only thing.
      It is the only way.
     Are you in prison with agonizing noise almost all your waking hours?  Ask the Lord
to send an angel to awaken you in the early morning hours while others still sleep.
     Oh, Brothers and Sisters, please listen:
                 No prayer, no Jesus.
                 No Jesus, no joy.
