Maybe this is one of those situations where you are the one who needs to change. Wouldn't you love to allow the Lord to transform you into a minister of His life? A minister of Grace? He certainly wants to. Yes, the other person is wrong. You probably would not be reading this if that were not the case. But, you stepped over the line. You told the Lord He could have your life. Did you mean it? Yes, at the time. But now that the offender has been so excessively out of line, the enemy is after you and you are focusing totally on the severity of the offense. What does the Bible say? We need to be changed until we cross the River. Yes, the offense is great. But if you are preoccupied with it, you must get right. You must go to the Lord and remind Him and yourself that you gave up your life. By the experience of offense, you take it up again. Yield to the surgical knife of the Lover of Your Soul. That sharp edge is an edge of Love, and it will never slip. |
