     Being  a Soldier of the Cross  merely means putting the next foot down on the next
piece of available ground, according to obedience.
     Living by faith means not having to know what is coming.  It means giving up 
control.  It means trusting Someone else.
     The Lord gives us light for the next move, and it is extremely rare to have more 
light than that.  The soul wants desperately to have at least two or three moves in the 
plan, but the Lord does not operate that way.
     Soldier, renew your determination to live by faith and to reject all else.
     There is no other way to have sight for pillar of Smoke by day and the Fire by night.
