     The Lord does not work in the humanly acceptable ways. 
      He intervenes in the life of the believer, but not according to that person's concept
of need.  
      You and I see and evaluate.  Our prayers often spring out of our anxiety and are 
worded according to the level of our feeling, rather than what is wise.  Moreover, we
don't know enough to know what we really need.
      That difficult relationship is a rich gift, if you will allow the Lord to wholly have you
in the situation.
      The lack of money is humbling and can teach you to be dependent.
      The physical affliction is one of the most difficult, but the Lord would love to be
allowed to teach endurance and reveal His glowing Life against the dark backdrop
of the discomfort.
     Oh, Soldier of the Cross, do not waste time looking for the Lord to set your life in
order and keep it that way.  Your obedience needs to be in order.  Your thoughts need
to be in order.
     But for those who are founded on The Rock of Ages, the storms are appointed and
they don't need to understand.
     We merely need to look up and move on.
