What does the Lord have in store for you?
Himself.
And beyond that, you don't need to know.
Many, many believers want to know what the future holds and, particularly young
Christians, are claiming they want God's Will.
Well, the only verse in the Bible that speaks directly of God's Will is the verse in
John where Jesus answers the question. He says ". . . the will of the Father is that you
should know the One whom He has sent."
Soldier, the worst thing in the world for us would be to know the future. We would
lose the moment, as many do already, and we would never need faith.
We have been designed to function by faith. No other way.
What ever happened to ". . . though He slay me, yet will I trust Him . . .?"
I shudder when I hear believers say "I wish I know what were around the corner." Or
"I wish I could see what the future holds."
Those Christians have never stepped over The Line, and they do not recognize the
freedom of faith.
Soldier, whether you like it or not (and regardless of your political views,) you are
in a battle. Step over The Line and commit yourself before the powers of the
unseen. Tell the Lord outloud He can have your life totally and tell Him He can do
absolutely anything.
Tell Him you trust Him.
Tell Him you will let go of anything and everything.
Tell Him before the angels and the demons - they all listen, you know.
Speak boldly and firmly.
There is nothing else to do, nowhere else to go, and no One else in whom to trust.
