     Teach your children to listen.
     It begins when they are very little.  Do you have a one year old?  Does he look at 
you when you are talking?      
     Many children play power struggle games, and it begins with things that seem 
small.
     We are to train our children when they are tiny so that we can teach them to follow 
the Lord as they get older.  They must learn to listen to you and with little ones, it 
begins with eye contact.
     If your child does not look at you when you are speaking to him, take your right 
hand and gently pick up his little face to have him meet your eyes.  If he still refuses, 
tighten your grip.  He absolutely will respond.
     You are doing this so that when the Lord speaks, he will know to look up.
