     Be sure you consider what is to be gained.
     What I mean is, we often give ourselves to interests that are not eternal.
     One must do each job as unto the Lord, and there are many tasks that do not 
intrinsically display deep value or flaunt a spiritual purpose.
     Many believers, however set goals that are for recreation, luxury, and the shutting
out of a dying world.
     We must be aware of what we are doing and of what we want.  We must  often do
things without knowing how the Lord will use the result.  But we must make sure we 
are not avoiding reality or anesthetizing the flesh.
     Prayer time should be a time to get clean, get vision, and get prepared. 
Prepared for a world that isn't going to last much longer.
