It seems that Christians have just as much
difficulty with feelings as do the unsaved.
There is no excuse for this.
There is a reason, and it is that many believers
do not prayerfully read the Word, and they are not
taught to obey without condition.
God is presented as a big, understanding and
indulgent buddy. And while it is certainly true that
He is our Rescuer and our High Tower, He is also a
holy God.
What He says, He means, and our feeling do not
play into the truth of God's Word.
Soldier of the Cross, stop evaluating feelings.
Look to obey first and then you will be free to
experience the reward.
