Do you spend time with someone who points out the
faults of others?
Do not listen.
We are to know no man after the flesh. When you
allow other to criticize Believers, you are in silent
agreement. I have often heard people say "he (she)just needed
to talk. . ." and that is true only if the subject
has been approached to confess the speaker's weakness
rather than the subject's weakness.
Soldier of the Cross, your speech can be damaging,
and listening in silence can be just as bad.
As difficult as it is, you must simply state you
would rather not hear these things. I have often left the
room to avoid hearing negative statements about others.
Keep your tongue clean.
Keep your ears clean.
