Where are your priorities?
Are you living as though you were a citizen of heaven and a stranger on earth?
You are, of course an alien here - a sojourner and a pilgrim.
But most believers are primarily interested in their lives working out now. They
cling to false teachings about the importance of having the perfect marriage, the
perfect schedule, perfect children, and even perfect finances.
Don't you find it interesting that the Apostle Paul does not mention his own
physical family! Do you realize one of the possibilities is that he was rejected
because of his determination to be a citizen of heaven?
Soldier of the Cross, you are just that. You are a Soldier. And one of heaven.
You are not a civilian, and if you have experienced the New Birth, you will not have the
capacity to settle down and live a nice earthly, civilian life.
These things need to be settled now. Settled in prayer and settled outloud.
He who gave His life for you is preparing a Place for you. You must also be
preparing;
Dead to the world and alive unto Christ!
