| You must pray outloud.
If you don't you will woolgather and your intent
will be sucked up by meandering thought about the thing
that is most consuming.
Praying outloud forces the choice of words - we
need to learn to be articulate in prayer and to speak
to the Lord without unnecessary elaboration.
It is a stunning privilege to have an audience
with the Almighty God. We come to Him because of the
Shed Blood, and we ought to remember it each time we
pray.
Soldier of the Cross, He listens more acutely
than anyone else you have met. He has the Power to
do what you ask. If it is for your good, He will do it.
If it is not for your good, He may still do it, so be
careful for what you pray.
Pray outloud. Nothing will ever be the same. |
