This morning I heard a preacher on the radio say that your personal quiet time is
not as important as your constant patter of conversation with the Lord during the day.
Oh, Soldier! It is not true!
It is certainly possible to speak to the Lord during the day, and if your thoughts are
not with Him, something is wrong. But most certainly, the quiet time is where things
begin, are maintained, and where they grow.
Much of the time, people mutter and peep during the day and even though they
might say "Lord see this. . . or Lord do that. . ." they are really just talking to
themselves.
There must be a Prayer Time.
It must be when nothing else is going on.
This pleases God, and there is no other way to have a relationship with the Lord.
Do not be deceived.
Take time.
Enter the Holy of Holies.
Do it deliberately and regularly.
Do it outloud.
