Has the Lord asked something of you?
Does it require that you put your own concerns aside for those of another?
Soldier of the Cross, if we fall prey to complaint, we will not know it is happening
unless we are in a regular prayer relationship with the Lord.
So very many do not live this way - that is, they do not pray, and that means that
they are blind and fall into a pattern of fault-finding and whining.
Let's look at reality: you will die. Either tomorrow, or a later time. So, when you
pass over into eternity, you will take only what you have done for Christ, and those are
only the decisions made by faith.
I heard a beautiful statement Sunday: "Nothing is too precious to give it up to the
Lord."
Soldier, take heart today. The way you feel counts for nothing, unless it is a
sensitivity to the song in your heart.
Grieving is a state of being, not a feeling.
If you are not grieving, move on. If you have been grieving for more than a few
weeks, consider turning to look at the Lover of Your Soul. Perhaps He requires
that you leave behind what cannot be taken into Glory.
Whatever He asks of you, you can do it.
