It is critically important to train children to be polite.
If your small son or daughter is telling siblings to "get out of my way. . . " or "it's
mine - give it to me now!". . . you have a serious problem on your hands and you
have been a passive parent.
But, it is never too late.
Soldier of the Cross, remember, your children are not your own.
You have been trusted to train and then teach them.
Nothing is harmless, and nothing is too small to correct.
Remember, your job is to train your children to obey the Lord without question.
And, there is no child who has ever been born who learned without training.
That little will has to be broken.
Other children have problems. Do not be numb to the needs of your own children.
Your job is not easy, and it does not include your own comfort. Also, it does not
include how much your child likes you.
It only matters that you train your child in love and by prayer.
