Bear no resentment.
If a snake bites you, you can not resent the snake, for the snake did not know better. That means if you do resent the snake, it is because of your attributing motives or deliberacy to the snake.
It is the same with your Brother. If you resent your Brother, it means you have a thought process about him that is speculative and you are putting the weight of your soul on your own assessment.
Only a foolish person ignores the fact that the snake has bitten him and approaches the snake as though nothing had happened.
But the one who resents anything for any reason lives in a falsehood of the mind and cannot discern the ways of God.
One of the greatest crippling snares of the enemy is the ease with which Christians take on resentment. In the home, in the local assembly, and in the community.
