There is no such thing as a living martyr.
If you think you have suffered, there are always those who have
suffered far more, and have yielded to the Lord.
As soon as a Christian talks about how much he has suffered,
it is an indication that the talker has a deep problem - a lack of
understanding about the Christian life, eternity, or the economy of
heaven.
Your suffering cannot be compared to His - that is the reason for
His going to the Cross - so you would understand none of this life's
sorrows could be compared to His.
Are you occupied with yourself, your family, and your issues?
Gaze upon Him who gave up His position of Glory, and counted
it as nothing.
Why are you so convinced you have been through so much?
Does a living sacrifice lay on the alter and howl about what he has
been through?
Stop the flesh-flash.
Look up and move on.
